Six stabbed in mass brawl
This was a large scale fight which would have been seen by people who were at the busy nightclub and in the area. Luckily no one was critically injured in the attack.
SIX men have been stabbed in a mass brawl outside a busy nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning. A fight broke out between 15 and 30 men in Rivermead Road at the junction with Harbet Road, Upper Edmonton, near the Box H9 Nightclub. A House vs Old Skool Classics night was going on at the nightclub from 9pm to 5am, but it is not known whether those involved had been at the event. Detectives in Enfield – who were called at 4:34am on Sunday – are appealing for information and witnesses to the stabbings.
Detective Inspector Chris Rixon, from Enfield CID, said: “This was a large scale fight which would have been seen by people who were at the busy nightclub and in the area. Luckily no one was critically injured in the attack.
“We would appeal to anyone with any information or any witnesses to come forward and speak to police or to Crimestoppers anonymously.”
Six men, aged in their late teens and early 20s, were stabbed. None are in a serious condition.
He added: At this early stage in the investigation it is not known if those involved in the brawl had attended the music event.
