Arteco1 reports another addition to their VEMS which will open the doors to the management of access control systems directly from the Arteco NEXT platform.
The integration of the Axis2 A1001 Network Door Controller, pictured, now offers allows users to combine the features of the Axis device with the Arteco VEMS.
Among the features are the ability to view and interact with the access system through Arteco Maps; described as customizable, dynamic and intuitive maps that gives the user the ability to manage access devices with one click.
A user can authorise access to a visitor, or deny entry to an unauthorized person, to manage situational awareness.
Besides Arteco Maps, the product features include:
Receiving and viewing events provided by A1001 in real-time
Associating events and cameras (such as starting PTZ pre-set, tagging recordings, starting video analysis) or events and Arteco Everywhere (or I/O modules installed on the cameras) to supplement or manage automation with other devices.
