X Factor bosses have reportedly positioned a security guard on the stairs of the contestants’ mansion to stop Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie from ‘getting frisky’. The singers from Scotland, who have been dating for nine months, are said to have been cosying up on the stairs of the 3.6million pad in north London because they were banned from each other’s rooms. But now a security guard apparently keeps an eye on Emily, 18, and Ryan, 20, to make sure they don’t get up to any mischief.
Getting closer: Emily and Ryan have been accused of ‘getting frisky’ inside the X Factor mansion, despite a sex ban
Emily told The Sun2: ‘The security guard is literally sitting with us. We hear his stories from what he’s been doing and his jobs.’
The young lovebirds wore matching grey hoodies when they headed to rehearsals at Fountain Studios in north London on Friday paired with black skinny jeans for a true doppleganger effect.
Looking somewhat bashful and sheepish, Emily wore black, spray-on leggings and carried her very large guitar case on her back.
Seeing double: Emily Middlemas, 18, and Ryan Lawrie, 20, proved they’re so close that they’ve even started dressing like each other as they headed into X Factor rehearsals on Friday
The singer added to her quirky style with a pair of black and white Converse trainers, to ensure she kept comfortable throughout rehearsals. Ryan slipped into skinny jeans, which he wore with all-black sneakers, giving him a strong alt-rock vibe.
Speaking to The Sun3 earlier this week, Ryan said that things were getting ‘pretty serious’ for the pair, as they continue to share a house with the other hopefuls.

Can’t keep away: The duo have already said that they would be lost without one another in the competition and are hoping to tie the knot in the knot too distant future
Asked if he thought Emily was The One, Ryan replied: ‘We are pretty serious, yes.
‘I would like to think she is the girl I am going to marry and have children with one day.’
Emily and Ryan, both originally from Scotland, have been dating for around nine months, though they first met four years ago. They were forced to ‘fast-forward’ their relationship this month when the final 12 moved into a shared home in London to facilitate rehearsal time – but the couple are not allowed to share a room. There is also a sex ban imposed on the house to help the contestants concentrate on the competition.
Street style: Controversial rapper Honey G – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – cut a casual figure in severely ripped blue jeans and a pink bomber jacket
Speaking about the sex ban, Ryan insisted: ‘We wouldn’t do that anyway. It’s just professionalism, isn’t it?’
Ryan originally returned to this year’s X Factor as the wildcard contestant, while Emily got a second chance after being eliminated at Judges’ Houses back in 2014. The comeback kids soon struck up a bond when they found themselves on the same gig circuit and the duo live around 20 minutes from each other at home in Scotland.
Their romance was brought to light when they exchanged an array of cute snaps and good luck messages during the Six-Chair Challenge stages of this year’s competition.
Sweet honey: Clearly aiming for an urban look, Miss G crowned her brunette locks with a red baseball cap and slipped into Nike trainers, which she left untied
Elsewhere at rehearsals, controversial rapper Honey G – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – cut a casual figure in ripped blue jeans and a pink bomber jacket. Clearly aiming for an urban chic look, she crowned her brunette locks with a red baseball cap and slipped into Nike trainers, which she left untied. The look contrasts sharply with her upbringing, which saw her attend the fee-paying St Helen’s School in Northwood, North-West London before taking her GCSEs at the private Peterborough and St Margaret’s High School For Girls in nearby Stanmore.

The show’s other contestants looked equally at ease as they headed into the studios ahead of Saturday’s singing showdown. Wearing a cozy red and white scarf, Gifty Louise was all smiles as she chatted with Nathan Lewis, while his bandmates 5 After Midnight trailed behind them. Nathan and Gifty seemed to have struck up quite the friendship, as they repeatedly laughed – despite the cold temperatures and mounting pressure to stay in the show.
Finnish stunner Saara Aalto has clearly left the stressful memories of being in the bottom two last weekend behind her. She looked effortlessly hip as she strutted into rehearsal wearing a white shag coat, a black skirt and skin-tight hose that showed off her sculpted legs.

Oversized hoop earrings added to the vintage feel of her stunning look. The contestants will take to the stage in Saturday night’s live show in front of judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, where they will each perform Motown songs.
Sunday night’s results show will see one of the acts eliminated, while Little Mix and One Republic will perform their new singles. Last week saw Louis Walsh’s act Brattavio crash out of the competition, after losing in the Sing Off to Saara Alto. It’s the second of Louis’ acts to be forced out of The Groups category in one weekend after Brooks Way were suspended when Josh was accused of physically harming an ex-girlfriend.
