Police are reminding Radstock and Paulton residents to make sure their property is secure after a string of burglaries in the area. Between October 7 and 14, four break-ins and one attempted break-in have been reported to Avon and Somerset police2 at commercial properties in the Paulton and Radstock area. The neighbourhood policing team has asked businesses to review and update their security as a precaution.
Police say that sometime overnight between October 7 and 8 thieves broke into Jean’s Hair Salon on County Bridge, Radstock, causing damage to a store-room roof and a door, and stole cash from a charity tin.
Three break ins were reported the following night.
