Offenders forced their way into a business in an industrial estate in Burton last night but left empty-handed. Staffordshire Police are currently appealing for information after would-be thieves broke into business premises at an Industrial Estate in Hawkins Lane, Burton between 4pm on Tuesday, September 20 and 7.45am on Wednesday, September 21. The criminals forced entry to the secure unit via the metal shutter and a door, but escaped empty handed.
Staffordshire Police2 are reminding businesses to remain vigilant and take time to review security measures at business premises ensuring CCTV and alarm systems are in good working order and switched on. Businesses should report any suspicious activity to the police immediately. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident number 74 of September 21.
