A Tonbridge teenager has been arrested following a reported rape at MooMoo nightclub in Tunbridge Wells. The alleged incident took place at a Pok mon-themed A-level party on August 19. An 18-year-old woman was reported to have been attacked in the club’s toilets in Newton Road between 1.30am and 2.30am on Friday, August 19.
Police officers have examined CCTV from the night. A Kent Police spokesman confirmed the 19-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of rape on September 2 and released on bail pending further enquiries until January 23, 2017. MooMoo Clubrooms held a Pok mon-themed party on August 18 to celebrate the release of A-level results.
