6 from a landscaping trailer parked in the 1900 block of Willow Road. The trailer was found that morning with the equipment missing and the trailer padlock broken. Theft
The manager of Willow Festival’s Whole Foods store reported Sept.
2 that a man in his sixties stole $147 worth of food meat and a cake and got into a blue Chevrolet and left, despite being confronted on the way out of the store in the center at Willow and Waukegan roads.
A woman employed in a Sky Harbor business park firm said she thinks her wallet dropped out of one of her pants pockets Aug.
26 while at work in the 4000 block of Commercial Avenue. As she canceled, her debit card, she found an unauthorized charge had been placed against it. Rosa Amelia Rios De Penuela, 52, was ticketed on a local theft charge at the Goodwill store, at Sanders Crossing Shopping Center in the 4100 block of Dundee Road. Police said she hid about $46 worth costume jewelry and a wallet in a shopping cart, and was detained by a security guard as she left the store. De Penuela, of the first block of Glendale, Wheeling, has a Sept.
27 court date.
An employee of Highland Baking Co., in the 2300 block of Shermer Road, reported early Sept.
8 that his iPhone had been stolen from his locker. The combination lock that had secured the door was missing, according to a report. Locker thefts also had been reported at the industrial bakery Aug.

Trespassing
Sergey Repnoy, 32, of the 300 block of Jane Avenue, Oakland, Calif., was charged Sept.
6 with trespassing at a residence in the 2800 block of Highland Avenue. Police said he had been warned by police the previous day that if he returned, he would be charge. He was released on a $1,500 recognizance bond and scheduled to appear in court Sept.
