Cleethorpes Town Hall where inquests are held
TRIBUTES have been paid to the security guard killed in a collision with a lorry at Immingham Docks.
He was named locally as Lyndon Perks.
The 50-year-old Grimsby man was working as a guard at the entrance to warehouses off Mineral Quay Road, Immingham, at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.
Fire crews from Immingham and East Midlands Ambulance Service and Humberside Police attended the scene of the collision between the pedestrian and the lorry.

Mr Perks hails from the West Midlands and had worked as a security guard for a number of years.
Mr Perks was working at the site, which is owned by Associated British Ports.
Health and Safety Executive inspectors have examined the lorry which was operated by Liverpool-based Abbey Logistics Ltd.
A number of staff were sent home due to shock at the tragedy.
The Health and Safety Executive will prepare a file for Grimsby and North Lincolnshire coroner, Paul Kelly, who is due to open an inquest later today.
Tributes have been posted on the Grimsby Telegraph’s Facebook page.
Vicki Mutton said: “So shocked . It is my friend Lyndon, one of the nicest people you could ever meet and a heart of gold . He will be missed more than he’ll ever know .
R.I.P Lyndon and hugs to all your family.”
Matt Pearce said: “Thoughts are with his family, how awful.”
Charles Frederick Brindley said: “God rest your soul fella.”
