Norfolk, Va. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is coming to Hampton Roads Tuesday. The Democratic presidential candidate will be holding a campaign rally in Norfolk at Scope Arena.
According to a news release, he ll be talking about a range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, combating criminal justice and making college affordable. The event is free and open to the public but admission will be first come, first served. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP1 is strongly encouraged
Security is asking that you do not bring bags and limit what you bring to personal items such as keys or cell phones.
The announcement means that four presidential candidates now have plans to visit Hampton Roads within the same week.
Three Republican candidates are scheduled to participate in upcoming events at Regent University2: Donald Trump on Feb.
24, Ted Cruz on Feb.
26 and Dr. Ben Carson on Feb.
