Norfolk, Va.
Sailors and Marines serving in the USS Kearsarge, USS Arlington, and USS Oak Hill are scheduled to depart for deployment on Saturday.
More than 4,000 Sailors and Marines are scheduled for the seven month deployment, which will support maritime security operations, crisis response, theater security cooperation.
The deployment will also provide a forward naval presence in the U.S.
Navy s 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
The Kearsarge and USS Arlington are deploying from Naval Station Norfolk.
The USS Oak Hill is deploying from Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story.
