GJD1, the UK manufacturer and designer of external detector equipment and LED illuminators, will launch its Clarius Plus range of Infra-Red and White-Light illuminators at Intersec Dubai on the IMCI stand. IMCI is GJD s Middle-Eastern distributor and has distributed the company s product range for more than 20 years.
The Clarius Plus illuminator is described as a deterrent against crimes, and as a result it is normally a first line of defence. Features include an interchangeable lens diffuser system, which provides a way to alter the angle of illumination to deliver angles of 10, 30, 60, 80 and 120 degrees.
Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD s Sales and Marketing Director said: The Clarius Plus is a game changer for the Middle Eastern market because of its interchangeable lens diffuser system, which makes it very easy to alter the system to suit specific site requirements, such as field of view and illumination range.
The elliptical beam profiles allow for more light to be delivered where it is required, enabling both longer distances to be reached and minimising light wastage, ultimately saving energy and costs compared to a standard illuminator, it is claimed.
The product is fitted with the latest surface mount Dual core LEDs to provide clear night images. The product also helps to prevent overexposure of foreground objects, the makers add.
