Fife is 9th position in Scotland for high child poverty rates, with just under one quarter of children living in poverty.
Lochgelly and Cardenden political ward currently has the fifth highest level of child poverty rates in Fife, with over a quarter of children living in poverty.
According to KnowFife1, 19.1% of children live in low income households in Fife, compared to 17.7% for Scotland.
36.4% of children live in poverty in the most deprived areas of Fife, compared to 4.7% in the least deprived areas of Fife.
