Parking

The normal visitor car park will be open as usual for parking to come to the talks.

Motive Power Department Tours Shed Tours

Where?
Outside the Motive Power Department, Grosmont. Meet by the stairs to the Shed Shop.

When?
9, 16 & 23 October.

Times?
Starts 1.30pm Finishes 3.00pm 3.30pm.

Duration?
Approximately one and a half to two hour.

What?
The tour will cover lighting up and preparation, coaling and watering, disposal.

Maintenance, repairs and overhauls.

There will be opportunity to take photographs.

Maximum number per tour = 12 people.

Price?
10 adult, 5 ages 10 to 15. (No under 10s admitted)

For security reasons a Photographic ID must be produced.

Stout footwear is also essential.
